Project Description

This urban gardening project in Brussels involved transforming an abandoned space, untouched for four years, while preserving interesting plants such as palm trees and rose bushes. The aim was to revitalize the garden while providing an aesthetic and functional space requiring minimal maintenance.

The soil was completely redone, enriched with different types of compost to nourish the earth, and the walls were repainted to offer a clean and welcoming environment.

Project Challenges

The main challenges included managing wild vegetation and preparing the soil for new plantings.

  • Removing invasive wild vegetation.
  • Preserving existing plants of interest.
  • Creating a space resilient to extreme weather conditions.

A balance was sought between aesthetics, durability, and ease of maintenance.

Project Solutions

To meet the challenges, a selection of drought-resistant and fast-growing plants was chosen to ensure a lush and attractive garden.

  • Use of various composts to enrich the soil.
  • Selection of varieties adapted to local conditions.
  • Aesthetic design requiring minimal maintenance.

These measures ensure a harmonious, functional, and durable space.

Trustworthy Experience

With our expertise in urban landscaping, we transformed this space into an attractive, low-maintenance garden that meets the city's climatic challenges while respecting the client's expectations.
